- First, go to this site: https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/two-step-verification/enroll-welcome
- Click on Get Started, it may prompt for your password, enter your password and click Next
- After clicking Next, we recommend choosing "Show more options" so you can select the text message option, then press Continue
- Enter your personal cell phone number, then click Next
- Google will send you a code that you will enter on the screen, then press Next once more
- Once you receive the code on your phone you can enter it on the next screen to verify
- Some applications will not work with MFA. This password is provided as a method to still use those applications. It would be good to note this password down. If you continually get a password incorrect error on one of your devices or applications you will need to use this app password instead of your normal password.
wYou should receive a message that it worked, just click Turn On to complete the process.- You will now have Two Factor (2FA) turned on!
